Itinerary for a eight day trip to Serra de Tramuntana in Mallorca (September 2026)
Introduction
Eight day trip to relax in a valley of the Serra de Tramuntana in Mallorca (Spain) in September 2026 with two adults. The itinerary also includes some sightseeing for variation.

Activities
Day 1
- Flight to Palma de Mallorca Airport. Pick up rental car.
- Drive to Sóller (40 min drive). As this vacation was designed around relaxing at the pool we splurged a lot more than usual on the hotel.
- Be careful if you are by car as a lot of streets in Sóller are for residents only. If you enter them you will incur a EUR 200 fine (or higher).
Day 2
- Enjoyed a sunset at Far des Cap Gros. There is a nearby Refugio where you can buy some refreshments. Only around twenty parking spots are available, but you can easily hike to the top from the Port of Sóller (c. 35 min hike).
Day 3
- Visit the Església Nova in Son Servera (1,5h drive). We parked for free here.
- Visit the Coves del Drach (20 min drive from Son Servera). Tickets are EUR 18,50 per adult.
Day 4
- No activities.
Day 5
- Visit Valdemossa (40 min drive). The village has beautiful old streets (which I forgot to photograph).
Day 6
- Visit Sa Calobra. We parked here (hourly rate, we paid EUR 9 in total).
- The entire village seems to get overwhelmed every day. Luckily it was still very quiet when we arrived (at 10:30). We left around 13:00 and the return trip took quite some time as the busses also started returning around this time and the narrow roads struggle to absorb them. That said, if you can arrive early I would not hesitate recommend going.
- There is always room at the beach as it is very long (but not wide when it meets the sea).
Day 7
- Explore Palma.
- Visit Cathedral de Mallorca. Tickets are EUR 11 per adult.
Day 8
- Return the rental car and take the return flight.

Notes
- The budget included a quite high-end stay. Should you so prefer, you could lower your expense a lot without sacrificing the essentials.
- The Port of Sóller has a lot of restaurants, although they are priced above average (dinner for two with a bottle of wine is around EUR 75).
